Teen Talks is a podcast that wants to bring hope, life, love, truth, salvation, and understanding to Gen Z. We strive to reach Gen Z as well as many other people. Teen Talks was started in January of 2022; and we hope it has blessed many people.

Tré Vella has done many martial arts over 11 years. He has the title of COA in balintawak (Completion Of Art), earned a black belt in okinawan karate, 1 year and a half of experience in Gracie Jiu Jitsu and Muiy Thai, blue belt in Hapkido, and is currently studying the art of Israeli MIlitary Krav Maga. He has many awards in AWANA, 3 years of  studying in American Sign Language, and much more.  He is studying Hebrew as his main language in school. Has won many awards in leadership in his leadership program at his dojo.

Teens on a mission is what I believe we are as teens. We are not to go out and sleep around, get drunk, get high, or do nothing at all except play video games. We are on mission to bring love, hope, purity, and salvation to a broken and wicked world. I believe in what 1 Timothy says, “Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity.” ‭‭1 Timothy‬ ‭4:12‬. That is why we are teens on a mission.

My biological dad was addicted to drugs, alcohol, smoking, and other stuff like that. My mom divorced him when I was about one, he lives in New York still to this day. I didn't have a dad for about two years and I never remembered not having a dad, but I just remember going to daycare, seeing mom, and being with my Memaw. My mom remarried when I was three years old and now I have a real dad that helps me and sacrifices everything for me. One of my biggest insecurity's was that I didn't feel like I had a purpose in life because of who I came from. This really kicked in when I became a c.o.a. In Balintawak and broke two records for youngest to test and youngest to complete the test and receive a black belt in that art. I made it in two newspapers and had my own interview, I thought for sure everyone in the world would like me. During this time though, I struggled bad with pride, sexual videos (which i had been addicted to since i was 8 but now am free and have been free for about 4 years), lying, and I felt like if I was ever wrong then I was dumb and not worthy anything; I got just a small sample of what it was like to be big and famous in the Balintawak world and some other places, and I was not living in a good way at all. One of the things I ran to a lot was music, I loved music, but I wasn’t listening to music that would help me at all. I was listening to music that made me depressed, prideful, and completely not who I am. We have been going to a new church for almost 2 years and this church has freed me from all those things, the youth helped me grow out of my insecurities and they helped me with my wounds. Christ Alive Church is where we are going now and churches likes this that are alive are what help people like me. If you new me back in 2018, you wouldn’t think I was the same person as I am now, that is why living churches are the best, dead churches won’t do anything with you.
